Today we discussed what it must be like to be blind.
Children followed a line in the school woods guided by partners. One child had their eyes closed and were guided safely around an obstacle course.
Great skills in empathy and trust were displayed by all children.
We also tried to be a catterpillar. This was fun. Only the two front people could open their eyes. They tried hard to guide the rest of its body safely around the woods.
