4th class headed off on a day trip to Dalkey Heritage Centre. We got to see a small role play of people who actually lived in the castle. We got to meet the King & Queen who lived in the castle and we explored the castle. We met a scary craftsman who offered to cut one of girls hair and also examine another boys teeth.

Then we got to make our own coins using a heavy hammer and a stamp. At the end of the day we got to keep the coins we made and we received a certificate from the King & Queen. We really liked the King & Queen as they managed to convince Ms Smyth that we could have a night off homework and she agreed!! Result...!!!
